Join Olivia for this immersive and enriching woodblock carving workshop, where you can tap into your artistic potential and experience the satisfaction of transforming a simple piece of wood into a work of art. 

Discover the timeless art of woodblock carving in our engaging and hands-on introductory class. Unleash your creativity as you learn the essential techniques and principles of this traditional printmaking process. Throughout the class, you will be guided by Olivia O’Connor, an experienced instructor who is passionate about sharing her knowledge and helping you develop your skills.

Whether you're a beginner with no prior experience or an artist looking to explore a new medium, this class is for you! Together, we will explore the materials, tools, and safety precautions necessary for woodblock carving.

During this three hour workshop you will design and carve your woodblock and print it.

You will leave the class with your carved woodblock to take home and keep printing from, your progress prints and final print on art paper. 

All tools and materials are supplied, if you have any ideas of what you would like to print bring them along. If you don’t have any that’s OK as Olivia will walk you through designing for woodblock printing. 

This workshop is suitable for 18 years and older.
