Over the Mirboo North Winterfest weekend, The Everyday Makers will be hosting a series of creative workshops for adults. Nicky and Courtney have gathered some talented friends, both old and new, with skills to share to keep you making during the winter months.

Under her design name Amy Kallissa, Amy uses the strong foundations built by our fore-mothers together with fresh fabric and quirky details to create her gorgeous range of clever designs.

In this workshop, Amy will teach you the few simple stitches you’ll need to know to embroider a “stick & stitch” design onto a ready-made pouch; it’s just like colouring, but with needle and thread.
